Who I am? I am a 33 years old, father to 2 beautiful little girls, and your average blue collar guy. I am originally from Gloversville New York, now residing Newport new york. Up here in northeast big block territory! Where it all started:Growing up i remember sitting in the grandstands above the beer booth at Fonda Speedway. When I turned 8, I was able to finally get involved the way I wanted to, in the garage. My first job; was sanding the body to get painted. I continued to work in the garage learning and building my mechanical skills and at age 14, I became old enough to race according to our track rules. So I made the decision to stop playing school sports and fully invest my time into dirt track racing. At that age, i was able get into a work program for low income families with the agreement that my mom and step dad (who's car i was working on) would help me financially AFTER I SPENT MY OWN MONEY.
I was taught very early in life that if inwamtes it, i had to earn it! The first car- a buick regal with the tear drop quarter panels! This was in 2009, i was an 8th grade student. After a few years of on and off racing through my high school years, I was able to go racing again full time. Why this division? The Northeast DIRTcar pro stock division is EXACTLY where I belong. Why? Well originally my step dad raced street stocks, so thats where my career started. While i was in high school he moved up to the pro stocks, so when I came back racing, I wanted to continue to race together. In 2012 i met my wife at the race track, who's father was a competitor. I was 19 at the time. Fast forward a few years and I was competing against my step dad, father in law, 2 brother in laws, and my cousin! Yep, literally a family fued! My father in law and I, along with 2 very close friends, halfway built our 2 cars. So the wins are very special!!The most important thing:I honestly feel like the only thing anyone wants to talk about is how much racing takes. How much sacrifice, money and time it takes away to be successful. I dont think that way....
My parents met at the race track. I met my wife there. One of my brother in laws had met their significant other there as well. At such a young age, I was taken under the wing of everyone I met. All of my friends are older and they came from the race track! EVERYTHING IN MY LIFE HAS COME FROM RACING. My biggest accomplishment: On paper, it will be 5 wins in 7 races. However, for me, its not on paper. In august of 2025, we lost my father in law. He was a fantastic grandfather, and incredible father, a great friend, and an irreplaceable teammate. Our new hole track of utica rome speedway had set up a memorial race on September 26, 2025. I battled through the emotions, I battled against a bad draw and a very tough field. In 47 laps I made it from 15th to victory lane. I won the first ever jim normoyle memorial race in my father in laws honor. It was literally a Cinderella story and the most meaningful win I will likely ever have!I am not a flashy guy.
Im not super outspoken. I cuss when I talk, I work a regular job, the little bit of time I dont give to racing goes to my 2 girls. I turn wrenches on my own, I research when im not working. But I put in the time and work, and I am successful! I win races. And nobody can take that from me. The only thing left is to win that championship. My father in law and I couldn't win it together, so 2026, I'm gonna win it FOR HIM! Current sponsors:I don't have any big time sponsors. I race out of pocket, with help from mainly friends and family. Many of them dont even own a business. I feel it is very important to have a personal relationship with every sponsor I have. I like to run my operation as 1 big family!
THANK YOU! Even if I'm not chosen, what your doing is awesome for this sport! I wish you success!
